Connect with MCPFrequently asked questions
Which agents can I connect?
Connection guides are available for Codex, Claude Code, OpenClaw, and Hermes. For other MCP clients, check their connection options. Supported features and playback can vary by client.
Do I need an API key?
Hosted MCP connects through sign-in with your Kitsch Labs account. You do not need to copy an API key or paste one into chat.
Does connecting replace my agent’s default voice?
MCP adds audio tools to your agent. It does not automatically replace the default voice. Specify a voice and text to request speech generation, then play the result as your client supports.
Does MCP provide real-time calls?
The current MCP speech tool returns completed audio files. Live input and continuous call-style playback require additional integration. Playback also depends on the client.
Can I hear my agent’s responses in my own voice?
Clone your voice, specify its voice ID, and ask the agent to generate speech. Prepare your own recording or audio you have permission to use.
Can I listen before choosing a voice?
Listen to samples in the voice cards below. Check supported languages and character details, then compare voices with phrases your agent will use often.
How do I disconnect an agent?
Disconnect the agent in the Kitsch Labs app’s account settings. This blocks new requests but does not cancel work already accepted or incurred usage.
